No injuries were sustained when a Mini left the road and careered through a wall into the front garden of a Shanklin home last night (Saturday). Police were called just before 22:00 to reports of a vehicle colliding with a wall at the junction of Landguard Manor Road and Green Lane. A fire appliance from nearby Shanklin Fire Station was also mobilised in the interests of safety. Island Echo understands the vehicle was left at an angle after its off road adventure, but the occupants nor any other members of the public were injured as a result. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that no arrests have been made in relation to the single vehicle crash.
