Police executed warrants at 2 rural Isle of Wight properties as part of a drugs supply investigation this morning (Monday) – but failed to locate any illegal substances.
Officers clad in protective equipment arrived at a stable block on Whitehouse Road, Porchfield and conducted a thorough search of several outbuildings and vehicles.
At the same time, other officers attended a farm on Bowcombe Road, near Carisbrooke.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that no drugs were seized at either property, but a number of knives and air rifles were surrendered to officers.
No arrests have been made.

Air rifles and knives, on a farm! Who’d have thought.
