Newport IW FC’s Under 15s squad have progressed to the Semi-Final of the Saturday U-15’s Hampshire Cup.
This weekend saw the Island side go up against Oakwood Youth U15, a strong team that play in the Junior Premier League.
But the standing of the opposition didn’t deter the Islanders, who won the match 3-0.
All the goals were scored in the first half by Ben Snow, thanks to crosses from Ryan Hughes and Adrian Voigt.
Newport will face MFC Popley Youth U15 on Saturday 13th January.
