Newport IW Football Club’s Youth Under 13s team have won the Island Youth League for the 3rd season running.
The Newport side, whose last league defeat on the Island came back in April 2013 – have played nearly 25 games in all competitions, scoring 197 goals and conceding just 9..
This season they are still on course to win a unique treble as they play in 2 cup finals, the Island Cup Final and the Hampshire Cup Final.
The playing squad are Tristan Biles; Harry Cheek; Jaik Holton; Ryan Hughes; Jacob Jarvis; Izaac Kent; Fraser Law; Ashton Moss-Simmonds; Aidan Sheerin (Capt); Ben Snow; Zak Sullivan; Ben Timbrell; Jack Turner and Adrian Voigt.
The management team are Stuart Simmonds, Marc Sheerin and Graham Snow.
