A car has careered into the front of a house after colliding with another vehicle outside a primary school in Nettlestone this morning (Tuesday).
A silver Renault Modus – displaying P plates – has smashed through a brick wall and into the bay window of a property at Nettlestone Green.
A black Renault Clio has also been involved in the incident, sustaining minor front bumper damage.
The crash – which occurred at around 07:45 – has happened directly outside Nettlestone Primary School but has not involved any pupils, teachers or parents.
2 fire appliances from Ryde are on scene, with firefighters conducting scene safety and initial casualty care.
Thankfully, no serious injuries appear to have been sustained but the driver of the Modus is being checked over.
Access to the school is maintained, although motorists are currently being diverted around the village green.
How?
Not got as far a parking the car on it’s roof yet! No one was seriously injured, that is all that really matters. Cars and buildings can be fixed.
