Red Funnel has published a new Red Jet timetable for its cross-Solent routes post-Cowes Week (9th August – 19th August).
The timetable will see Red Funnels services return to the pre-Cowes Week schedule. In addition, and to help meet demand during the summer school holidays, Red Funnel has announced 2 extra departures from each side on Friday 13th of August, as well as an additional 8 departures from each side on Saturday 14th of August.
Fran Collins, Chief Executive at Red Funnel, said:
“Over the last few weeks we’ve noticed a greater demand for our Friday and Saturday departures and want to provide our customers with the services they require. As we move into the busier summer holiday period, we want to offer our customers confidence in our services, as well as ensure our Island passengers continue to receive a reliable service, despite busier periods.
“Our scheduling team are working their hardest to prepare the timetable from 20th of August, and we will provide our customers with another service update as soon as we have that information ready. As always, we thank our customers for bearing with us. We’re committed to keeping our customers in the loop and being as transparent as possible.”

What about Island residents who want to return to the Island after a day on the mainland or seeing a show,we need the 10.15/10.30 Red Jet from Southampton back !
Fran Collins and her number 2 Leanna do not give a toss about their customers and also don’t care about their staff. They couldn’t come up with a decent timetable if they tried as all they are interested in is making more money and cutting costs
