Fairweather Festival – to take place on Saturday 2nd September – has added even more top artists to its line up, completing the bill for 2017.
Fresh from an incredible performance on the Isle of Wight Festival’s Big Top stage, Lucy Spraggan is set to play on the main stage at Los Altos Park in Sandown alongside the likes of Professor Green, Foor, Atomic Kitten and The Chuckle Brothers.
Lucy appeared on the X Factor in 2012 and since then her audition video has been viewed 35million times on YouTube. Her debut album ‘Join the Club’ was a top-10 success and Lucy has enjoyed sell-out tours since. Lucy’s latest album ‘I Hope You Don’t Mind Me Writing’ gives evidence that she is one of the UK’s very best songwriters.
Fairweather Festival is being held in aid of Mind, the mental health charity – a subject close to Lucy’s heart as can be heard on the single ‘Dear You’, an incredibly touching song dedicated to a close friend who took their own life.
Jamie Lee Harrison joins the line up fresh from his appearance on the latest Britain’s Got Talent series. His powerful and soulful voice took him all the way to the semi-finals of BGT and he will now entertain the crowds on the Isle of Wight this September.
Pushing the very best in local talent is a huge focus for Fairweather Festival. Joining the main stage line-up is Hip Hop, Genre-fusing pioneers Born Ina Barn; upcoming funky-jazz collective Sheer Pink and acoustic singer/songwriter Cara Goodrem. Joining the Cabin in the Woods stage as part of an Atmos Music and Bassline Sessions’ Takeover is top upcoming rock band’s Reminders and Confed Fred, Bestival Resident DJ Shufflah and new upcoming DJ talent in the form of Eddie C.

“This event is completely non-for-profit and I’m so passionate about raising as much awareness about mental health as possible. We have the perfect line up, now it’s time to raise awareness! I’m actively searching for people who may have suffered from mental health issues in the past who may be willing to speak freely about their problems for the good of encouraging others to do so!
