Emergency services including the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, ambulance service, and police attended reports of a concern for the welfare of a vulnerable person earlier this afternoon (Tuesday).
1 fire appliance from Ryde was mobilised to the scene on St John’s Road at just after 12:00 after assistance in gaining entry to the property was requested by Ambulance service paramedics.
A paramedic officer alongside several units from Hampshire Constabulary also attended the address, with the fire crew standing down from the incident shortly after arrival, having made entry to the terraced home near West Stores.
Concerns had been raised for the welfare of a man at the address, who, thanks to the combined work of the emergency services, is now safely in the care of the Ambulance service.

Vulnerable people in Ryde? Surely not.!!
Most of the true vulnerable people are the victims of those who the
do-gooders describe as “vulnerable people”!
