UPDATED: A motorcyclist has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital following a crash on Appleford Road in Chale this afternoon (Sunday).
The rider is thought to have sustained multiple fractures in the incident, which has seen a scooter leave the carriageway and come to rest down an embankment.
Recovery of the 50cc motorcycle has been arranged. The road remains open.
UPDATE – A 41-year-old man from Apse Heath has sustained a fractured wrist and shoulder in the incident.
The motorcycle has now been recovered by Stag Lane Motors.
