Police have successfully located a missing male following a search in Newport this afternoon (Monday).
Officers descended on Riverway Industrial Estate sometime before 16:00 and launched a search of the area surrounding the start of the Newport to Cowes cycle path.
Coastguard Rescue Teams from Bembridge and Ventnor have joined Police at the location close to the River Medina.
However, the individual has been located and is now with paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Emergency teams are standing down.
