Police have today (Saturday) confirmed that the death is no longer being treated as suspicious and that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death. The 60-year-old man has been released without charge with no further action to be taken.

A Home Office Post Mortem has been conducted and at this stage the cause of death is unascertained, pending further laboratory investigations. It is thought the woman, a known alcoholic, died as a result of a cardiac arrest.

There is a continued presence at the address in Gurnard as officers conclude their examination and search of the scene.
