An individual who fell and injured themselves at the highest point on the Isle of Wight was assisted by coastguards and paramedics yesterday afternoon (Monday).
It was just before 14:45 that HM Coastguard tasked Coastguard Rescue Teams from Bembridge and Ventnor to St Boniface Down, Ventnor.
It had been reported that a person had fallen and sustained an arm injury near to the former RAF radar station.
After being assisted by Coastguard Rescue Officers, the injured casualty was passed into the care of the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Why do people get in such awkward conditions
not only are they risking their own life, they are risking
the lives of those who have to rescue them.
Stay home, watch TV. Much safer
Lol
Zzzzz, zzz, zz, z
Do you know anything about the circumstances and situation regarding this incident, EIE? Thought not. Advising people to stay in and vegetate in front of TV?Another wedge of well thought-out comment that we have learned to expect from you.
