A major incident exercise to test the response of the Island’s fire and rescue, ambulance and police services will take place this evening.
The exercise is focused on the emergency response to an incident involving a motorcycle, a bus and four cars with multiple casualties – it will be staged at the BAE Systems site off Newport Road, Cowes.
Residents are advised that there may be some noise from sirens, generators and pneumatic pumps between 5.45pm and 9.30pm.
