Undaunted by the drizzle, members of Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club took to the course on Sunday (18th February) to compete in the Cheverton Trophy, a mixed foursomes stableford competition.
As usual it was closely fought but the husband and wife team of Lynne and Dee Maidment took the trophy with 33 points.
Second, on countback, were Jean Munds and Keith Attrill with 31 points and third place was taken by Gary Meszynski and Chris Gould.
