Local firm Dixcey Landscapes is appealing for information as to the whereabouts of 2 whacker plates that have been stolen this week.
The company says that the items of machinery were taken from a site in Newchurch.
Each whacker plate – used to compact materials – is marked with ‘Dixcey Landscapes’ and their postcode – PO38 3AF.
Anyone with information can contact Dixcey Landscapes via their Facebook Page or by calling 01983 864884.

This type of crime is a constant drain on civilised society, these thieves have zero conscience and contribute zero to the common good.
They are a waste of space, companies are not faceless entities who can afford to lose their machinery.
People work very hard to build top their companies, whatever the size or nature of the business.
If any one is offered this machinery then do your duty and report the sellers to the Police , and note their vehicle reg number etc. Better still take a picture of them and the vehicle..
As a retired owner of a small business this type of crime makes my blog boil !
DOB THEM IN !!
probably already in use on the mainland with name scrubbed off
Perhaps it is time to learn from the east and start removing the hands of the thieving scum.
they will be half way across the EU know.
