Staff at Barchester Healthcare’s Orchard House care home in Newport have welcomed a new General Manager to head up the team.
Kim Fleming will oversee the running of the 60 bed home and will be responsible for the team of nurses, healthcare assistants and support staff. Kim has been Deputy Manager at Orchard House since 2018.
Orchard House is one of over 230 care homes owned by Barchester Healthcare. The home provides daily life-enriching activities for its residents now including zoom and skype engagement as we are a more ‘virtual world’.
Kim said:
“I am delighted to be leading the team here at Orchard House, I already know the residents, relatives and friends so well already which is lovely so I’m looking forward to hearing from more of the community who we can support during these challenging times.
Barbara Ozga, the Regional Operations Director for Orchard House said:
“I am pleased to confirm this promotion for Kim who has worked so hard in the home for the last 2 years. We are committed to providing high quality care and I really think Kim will be a great asset for residents and relatives in her new role”.
