UPDATED: The operation to lift the sunken luxury motor cruiser ‘Kahu’ is well underway this morning following work overnight to prepare the hull for salvage.
The multimillion pound vessel sunk last Monday after firefighters tackled an inferno that ripped through the boat for more than 9 hours.
Today, the remains of the stricken cruiser are to be lifted by crane before the hull is drained of seawater and diesel from the two fuel tanks on board.
