Game On – a retro gaming café and bar – will open tomorrow (Saturday) and, for the opening weekend, customers can enjoy 90 minutes half price.
As previously reported by Island Echo, the team have been busy transforming the former site of Deep South Social and it is taking shape nicely, with the façade now black with bright pink detailing and lights.
Inside, the bar is stocked and the popcorn machine installed while there are plenty of classic arcade games from the 1980s and 1990s.
Upstairs will host interactive gaming while there is also a table football and table tennis table.
Downstairs, will be the Splat room which is not open yet but will be in the coming weeks.
However, despite all the hard work, there remain a few building tasks to be completed so Game On is therefore offering 90 minutes of gaming for just £7.50 this weekend.
Sessions start every 2 hours from 10:00 until 20:00 and can be booked on their website.
