Ryde Raiders beat Wroxall A 9-1, with Wroxall’s Para Champion Tom Johnson gaining their only win. Ryde A comprehensively beat Newport Vics A 10-0, with Vic’s John Cornforth their only player to gain a set in the whole match, against Rob Smith.
t was a week of easy victories with Ryde Rivals beating Newport Vics B 9-1, with the Rivals Martin Johnstone player of the match.
Ryde A top the table with a 10 point lead over Ryde Royals and now look strong favourites to win the league.

In a battle of the Undercliff, the Belters and St Lawrence Lizards played a superb match with the teams finely balanced in skills and experience.
Playing on late into the night, the match was finely poised with all resting on the doubles at the end, which St Lawrence’s Derek Pittard and Tom Flood took in the final set against the Belter’s Nicky Dando and Bryce Wilson, with the match ending in a draw.
