Fire crews from Yarmouth and Freshwater have attended a kitchen fire in Totland this afternoon (Sunday).
2 appliances were mobilised to Kendal Road at 14:08 following a 999 call to the fire service. Upon arrival it was discovered that a pan had been left on the stove.
Firefighters entered the home using breathing apparatus before then clearing the property of smoke using positive pressure ventilation.
