PROPERTY: ISLE OF WIGHT LAND AND PROPERTIES EXPECTED TO BE SOLD IN BUMPER SPRING AUCTION


A bumper spring crop of properties and land on the Isle of Wight are set to go under the auctioneer’s hammer next month (March).

Among the properties going under the hammer is a 5-bedroom house at 12 West Street, Newport and is guided freehold at £115,000-125,000.

Currently let at just under £3,680 per annum, 6 freehold garages at the junction of Quarry Road and Alfred Street, Ryde, standing on a 0.07-acre site, have a £50,000-plus estimate. Meanwhile on the other side of Ryde, a freehold lock-up garage at the back of 19 Spencer Road, Ryde, has an estimate of £14,000-16,000.

Garages are aplenty in March’s auction with a freehold lock-up garage at the back of 57 Broadway, Sandown, currently let at £438 per annum, guided at £5,000-7,000. There is also a freehold lock-up garage to the rear of 7 Moor View, Godshill guided at £5,000-plus. It is currently let at £480 per annum.

Grazing land off Cockleton Lane, Cowes with nearly 15 acres, including small pockets of woodland, has a freehold estimate of £130,000-150,000.
