
Isle of Wight cricketer Adam Hose hit a double century when he played for Warwickshire County Cricket Club against Leeds/Bradford MCCU yesterday (Sunday).
Adam, who hails from Rookley, started his cricket career playing for local team Ventnor Cricket Club. He then stepped up to play for Hampshire, before moving on to Somerset and Warwickshire. He has since gone on to play for Birmingham and has recently had a stint in New Zealand and Dubai.
The 26-year-old hit 200 before retiring out during yesterday’s match – Day 3 of the university fixture against Leeds/Bradford at Edgbaston.
Adam hit 19x 4’s and 9x 6’s with a varied range of fantastic shots.
