2 good samaritans have been thanked for helping a woman to her feet after a fall and taking both her and her son back to their hotel.
Bill Hewett was visiting the Island recently when his mother took a tumble. Bill has now written a letter to the editor to publically thank those who helped.
“While visiting the Island, in Sandown, 2 lovely ladies (sisters) came to the rescue of my mother and I after she had taken a fall.
Article continues below this advertisement “Both the ladies where very kind and after picking my mother up – with the help of a very kind gentleman – drove us both back to the hotel and made sure that we were both alright.
“We would just like to thank these ladies and thought a little thank you note in the local paper would be lovely.
“Sadly both mum and I cannot remember either of the ladies names!”
