White Windows Ltd has sponsored a new kit for the Isle of Wight U16 and U18 beach soccer squads ahead of their trip to the Madjer International Youth Cup in Portugal this summer.
The 2 squads will travel to Buarcos Beach in Figueira da Foz between 21st-24th June to represent Great Britain and compete against youth teams from across the world.
The Isle of Wight teams will be the only UK players to travel to the tournament.
Isle of Wight Beach Soccer’s general manager, Luke Kerr, said:
“I’m delighted White Windows Ltd have stepped forward to support the IW U16 and U18 sides.
“We are approaching this world youth cup very seriously — and to have the side looking professional, in new Adidas kits, will help them feel extra special, look great and grow in confidence.”
Matt Foreman and John Drakeford, who run White Windows Ltd, said:
“We have both played beach soccer and realise how expensive it is to fund new kits. It’s not nice having to wear old kits for a big tournament — and White Windows is always keen to give back to the local community, so we were more than happy to provide sponsorship.
“Luke has done a great job with the Isle of Wight beach soccer scene and hopefully the teams can bring home some trophies to the Island this year.”
