Prior to the commencement of the competitive indoor season in early October, the Isle of Wight Indoor Bowls Club is holding an open day on Sunday (29th September) from 10:30 until 15:00.

This event will provide the opportunity for all bowlers to attend, together with anyone interested in taking up the game to try it out with the help of friendly and helpful coaches.

The club, situated behind Staddlestones Garage on Brading Road in Ryde, runs day leagues from Monday to Friday and evening leagues on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Club competitions are available to be entered by all members.

Friendly match fixtures will be played against various mainland clubs, both home and away.

Present on the open day until 13:30 will be Bowlswear Direct. They will have available for sale all sorts of bowls gear.
