Police are appealing for witnesses after a series of shoplifting incidents across Ryde, Newport, and East Cowes.
On Thursday 4th December a man has reportedly entered Tesco Extra on Brading Road in Ryde and left with alcohol to the value of £145.50 that he has not paid for.
This follows 2 previous incidents on Thursday 27th November at Sainsburys on Foxes Road in Newport and Saturday 29th November at Waitrose on Well Road in East Cowes where a man has reportedly entered the stores and left with alcohol and meat products to a similar value without paying.
Following enquiries, Police are now able to share an image of a man who we believe may be able to assist with our investigation into these incidents.
He is described as,
- Between 50 to 70-years-old
- White
- Stocky build
- With grey, white hair

Additionally, we’d like to hear from you if you have CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell camera footage that may assist our enquiries.
