UPDATED: A fault on one of Island Line’s trains has resulted in a reduced service between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin this morning (Tuesday).
The train operator are advising that an hourly service is now in operation until the end of the day with trains departing Ryde Pier Head at XX:49 and Shanklin at xx:18.
The exact cause of the fault is currently unclear. It is unknown if the problem will be fixed in time for a normal timetabled service to resume tomorrow.
UPDATE @ 10:55 – Island Line have unexpectedly said that a full service will resume from 11:00.
