Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Cartier watch which was stolen during an aggravated burglary in Apse Heath over 2 months ago. It was at the start of November that Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary launched a hunt for a group of men who burst into a caravan, seriously assaulted a 57-year-old man and stole his watch, as first reported by Island Echo. The incident occurred at a caravan park off Newport Road shortly before 02:00 on Thursday 2nd November and 3 men were seen fleeing in a silver car. Officers have been following up all lines of enquiry since this incident, and continue to do so. As part of this ongoing investigation, they are keen to hear from anyone with information about the stolen watch.
If you have been offered this item for sale, have bought it, or have seen it for sale online, then you are urged to get in touch with Police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary on 101, quoting 44230447772. You can also submit information online at https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/.
