TODAY’S cricket matchs between Hampshire 1st XL and PCA Masters at Newclose Cricket Ground has been cancelled due to poor ground conditions.
After heavy overnight rain, the playing area is currently unsuitable for play.
Spectators are not being charged for admission to the ground while play is suspended and are welcome to use the bar and cafe facilities.
Hopes that this afternoon’s match could have been played have been dashed following continued rain throughout the day.
