Seaview has been alive with traditional seaside fun this week as the village’s annual regatta returned with sailing, sport and entertainment.
The sporting action got underway on Tuesday (18th August), with sailing races off the seafront before a tug-of-war at Seagrove playing fields.
Youngsters got involved with children’s sports on the beach at Seagrove Bay yesterday (Wednesday), before swimming and diving events took place during the afternoon.
One of the regatta’s most recognisable traditions also returned – the greasy pole challenge – off the Sea View Yacht Club slipway.

The regatta concludes today (Thursday) with rowing events off Seaview seafront from 10:15.
Prize giving will take place on the seafront at 18:45, before a Grand Fireworks Display at 21:35 tonight.
