Krav Maga is a great way to get fit, build confidence and learn new skills. Krav Maga was initially developed as an unarmed combat system for the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) due to its no-nonsense, simplistic and practical approach and is favoured by many Hollywood celebs for their fitness regime.
It’s a simple, effective reality-based self-defence system that emphasises instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios. Its powerful, easy to learn techniques can empower you, making you more confident and giving you the tools to protect yourself and your family in the shortest time possible.
On the Island we offer adult classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Sandown and we also offer kids classes (age 5-15) in Ryde on Saturday mornings. These classes are based around protecting children from other children and protecting children from adults – two very different situations that need very different approaches which sports or traditional martial arts don’t cover.

At Inshape Fitness Studio we are proud to be able to offer some of the best gym equipment on the Isle of Wight. Our 2500ft² facility is situated on the outskirt of Cowes.

Throughout the 12 week programme, you’ll have access to:
Your instructor will use various measuring tools to show, your progress/improvements at the end of the 12 week programme.
Session 1: The instructor will design an individual programme for you, for a maximum of 3 weeks. You can book unlimited 1-2-1 sessions throughout, attend any of our fitness classes and use any of our 3 1Leisure sites.
Session 2: Your instructor will make any necessary alterations to your programme based on your progress. You’ll follow this until the 6 week mark where re-testing is performed.
Session 3: Based on your re-testing results, a new programme will be designed to push you closer to your goals.
Session 4: 1-2-1 training sessions are offered continuously between each session. At 12 weeks, your final testing will show your success and improvements.

It’s the only indoor climbing wall on the Island and has routes for both beginners and experienced climbers, including a traversing wall. They have a range of sessions available including instructor led activity sessions for children and adults, private hire for independent climbers and coaching sessions for those you wishing to hone your technical and or climbing skills.
They also have much more on site including the gym which is currently being extended and having a refit, almost 50 weekly fitness classes to suit all ages and fitness levels and of course the swimming pool. Their sports hall hosts Badminton, Tennis, 5 aside football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Netball. During the summer the Centre hosts a range of activities for children to keep then active and fit during the long school break!
