The Island’s Rural Property Specialist BCM, have announced the appointment of Katherine Thomas to their expanding team of rural property and planning specialists.
Katherine joins the team at their Newport offices to assist partners James Attrill and David Long in the management of BCM’s extensive client property and land portfolio. A move which follows the appointment in May of Thomas Dawson, as demand for its services continues to grow and expand across the Island.
As a graduate of The University of Portsmouth with a degree in Leadership, Business and Management, Katherine will shortly undertake an MSc in Building Surveying with the University College of Estate Management, expanding her knowledge within the Built Environment and further adding to the talent of the BCM team as a whole – ensuring that all BCM clients receive the best advice at all times from a company dedicated to rural property, planning, development and land management.
James Attrill, Partner at BCM comments:
“I am really pleased to welcome Katherine to the BCM team. Building our range of skills is a commitment to providing the best advice to rural property owners, landowners, estate managers and property developers. I know that Katherine is looking forward to building strong professional relationships with our clients and all those we work with across the Island, and our mainland offices.”
Born on the Island and having attended Sandown High School, Katherine has a great awareness of the unique nature of Island life, which has proved beneficial in her prior roles within both the Isle of Wight County Council and The Citizens Advice Bureau. Katherine has a real appreciation for the Island’s unique landscape and enjoys walks in the countryside, along the Island’s coastline and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
