Freshwater Bay Golf Club members have raised an impressive £4,452 in support of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The fundraising total was announced last weekend at the club’s festive Christmas party, where Judith Stephens, representing the Air Ambulance, attended as a special guest.
She was warmly welcomed by club captain Bill Evitts, who presented the cheque on behalf of the club’s members, marking the culmination of a year of fundraising efforts.
Judith thanked Freshwater Bay Golf Club for its generosity and spoke about the vital role community fundraising plays in keeping the life-saving service operational.
She highlighted that the charity relies heavily on public donations to fund its emergency medical response across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Freshwater Bay Golf Club has since expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed throughout the year, saying it was proud to support such an essential local service.
