FRENCH CONNECTION! 2-CAR CRASH AT SWANMORE JUNCTION IN RYDE

Police have been called to a road traffic collision involving 2 Citroens at a busy junction in Ryde this evening (Bank Holiday Monday). A Citroen C2 has collided with a Citroen C4 on Swanmore Road, at the junction with Osborne Road/Ratcliff Avenue/West Street. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has dispatched 3 officers to the incident, which has led to the partial closure of the road. Motorists are being diverted locally whilst recovery of the vehicles is arranged. No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash, which occurred at around 20:00.
