A wide range of activities which also provide a nutritious meal are on offer for all ages during the February half term.
Free places are available for children and young people who receive benefits-related free school meals and on a paid-for basis as well.
Places are also available for children and young people on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), those open to social care, or with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
However, the Isle of Wight Council is urging parents and carers to act now to avoid potentially missing out, as spaces are being booked up quickly.
Councillor Debbie Andre, Cabinet member for children’s services, said:
“Many families struggle financially during the school holidays — coping with the increased costs of food and childcare, while perhaps also living off a reduced income.
“This scheme exists to support these households, while offering children new opportunities and experiences that they may not have otherwise been able to access.”
