Brand new gym equipment for residents of The Foyer in Ryde is now available for use, thanks to the efforts of local business Evolution Gym.
The equipment was delivered to the George Street facility at the very start of the pandemic last year, quite literally days before the country went into lockdown.
Now, the team at Evolution Gym – located just around the corner in the High Street – have volunteered hours of their time to put the equipment together, allowing the new Foyer gym to finally open after an 18-month delay.
The Foyer is home to 46 young people who face homelessness.
