A bonded pair of dogs are urgently seeking a forever home together following their owner’s illness – and efforts are underway to avoid having to separate them.
Bonnie, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel, and Addy, a 9-year-old Labrador-Collie, are currently in need of a new home where they can remain side-by-side.
Their previous owner is no longer able to care for them due to ill health.
Bonnie is described as a calm and gentle dog who enjoys a relaxed pace of life. She gets on well with other dogs and would be best suited to a home with older children due to her age.
Addy is a playful companion who loves toys and going for walks. She also gets along well with other dogs and has a friendly temperament.
The pair are closely bonded, and rehoming them separately would be a last resort. The team supporting their rehoming are hopeful that a local family will come forward to keep them together.
Anyone who may be able to offer Bonnie and Addy a home is asked to call 01983 522511.
