The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for the Isle of Wight coast for tomorrow (Tuesday), coinciding with a yellow weather warning for strong winds.
Another area of deep, low pressure is moving its way across the South overnight and into Tuesday morning, prompting an alert for flooding to be issued.
Wind is forecast to be South Westerly at Gale Force 8 bringing waves of up to 4m at times, although the tide will not be as high as it was on Sunday morning. High tide is at 06:20.
The warning states there is the potential for very minor overtopping of sea defence walls at Yarmouth and Ryde.
Property flooding is not expected.
