A flood alert has been issued for the Isle of Wight coast, with high tide expected to cause some flooding in coastal towns this lunchtime.
With a Force 4 Westerly wind forecast, the Environment Agency anticipate water will be high up slipways in Cowes and a small amount of water may affect coastal roads for a very short time.
At Yarmouth the tide level will be much the same as observed earlier this morning, with potential minor impacts to the Wightlink ferry terminal car park.
Impacts across the Island are expected to be minimal.
