UPDATED: Firefighters from Newport are attending a kitchen fire at a property in Cowes this evening (Wednesday).
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene on Love Lane shortly before 18:00, with a second appliance from Ryde mobilised alongside a senior officer.
Thankfully the incident has been brought under control and firefighters from Ryde have been stood down en-route to the incident.
UPDATE @ 18:50 – The small fire has now been extinguished.
No one has been injured.
