Fire crews have this morning (Tuesday) extinguished a small fire at The Met Bar in Ventnor.
Several appliances from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to the popular seaside bar on Ventnor Esplanade shortly before 09:20, after an object on top of a hot oven caught fire.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished quickly by 09:30, resulting in other appliances being stood down and returning to station.
No one has been injured in the incident.
