The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are attending a wood pile fire on a farm near Alverstone this morning (Saturday).
Crews from Newport and Sandown were called to Borthwood Farm on Alverstone Road at just before 23:30, with further appliances from Ventnor soon requested.
The fire is under control and is not thought to have effected any livestock or property.
Firefighters remain on scene damping down the area.
