FANS INVITED TO PRACTICE EVENING

wightlinkislandersWightlink Islanders’ fans are being invited to attend next Tuesday (April 9th) evening’s 2013 Press and Practice event at Smallbrook and the excellent news for them is that they’re invited to do so absolutely free of charge.

Initially they should make their way to the Premier Lounge upstairs in the clubhouse where, commencing at 7pm, they’ll be introduced to the seven riders who all at the club hope will bring silverware to the Isle of Wight this year and each of the riders will be interviewed along with the club’s management team.

And, in addition, it will finally be revealed just which of the seven 2013 Wightlink Islanders has been handed the responsibility of being this year’s club captain and leading the team to National League glory this year.

The intent is for on track practice, the second time this year’s riders have had to chance to ride the Smallbrook circuit, to commence as near to 7.30pm as is possible and fans can see for themselves just how good the new Wightlink Islanders septet look.

“Again it promises to be a good night,” said co-promoter Chris Hunt, “and with our previous practice session being held during an afternoon, effectively this is the first chance for our fans to see them in action and we hope for a good turn out.

“I keep being asked to reveal just who our captain will be but we’ve all remained tight lipped and everybody will just have to wait until next Tuesday won’t they!”
