Police and paramedics were called to a quiet residential street in Binstead during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) when a car collided with a parked van.
Emergency services were called to Hillrise Avenue at 04:40 to reports of a 2-car collision.
Officers arrived on scene to find a car had gone into the front offside corner of a white Ford Transit van, which was parked on the public highway.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were deployed to the scene and tended to the car driver, who sustained minor injuries.
The car was recovered and the road reopened by 06:00.

it was a single car crashed into parked cars. then he got out without the handbrake on and rolled into a second car. seems he was going to fast to manage the pinch point in the parked cars
Looking at the picture there should be double yellow lines
where the van is parked on the corner, with such large
vehicles parking on corners etc, they make the roads and
streets narrow and block persons vision when driving.
Too be honest the council should have designated areas
for such large vehicles, the island is full of them.
Open up some compounds for such vehicles.
Where I used to live there was usually large vans parking
near my driveway blocking my vision when driving off
the drive.
In the end I moved and made sure I moved to an area
where that cannot happen.
Zzzzzzz zzzzz zzzzzzz zzz. How interesting. Zzzzzzzz Should zzzz zzzz. Too. Zzzz Should. Zzzzzz. There was. Zzzzzzz. Pass the morphine
Such a shame numpties like yourself don’t like to
hear the truth.
Bless your cotton socks.
Its a layby not a corner
More shit driving..
Even worse grammar from the usual suspect
