Can you help fund a sports wheelchair for the Isle of Wight Disability Cricket Team?
The team recently won the regional championship after beating Essex by some 29 runs in the South East Regional final at Northwood last weekend, as previously reported by Island Echo.
Monies are being raised to help purchase a specialist wheelchair for one of the team so he can continue to play. This specialist piece of equipment usually costs anywhere between £500 and £3,000.
Any additional monies raised will go towards ensuring we have all the equipment required – such as pads, gloves, and helmets – to meet the needs of the team.
