Bembridge RNLI launched to reports of a sailing dinghy floating 7 nautical miles South of St Catherine’s Point yesterday lunchtime (Wednesday). Solent Coastguard requested that volunteers launch the All Weather Lifeboat to locate and inspect the yellow Laser Pico dinghy at around 12:30. Thanks to calm conditions, the crew made good speed and quickly located the object and hauled it on board the Tamar-class lifeboat. It was subsequently dropped off at the lifeboat station at Lane End. HM Coastguard believes the dinghy originates from an owner near the Bournemouth area. They have the owner’s details and have informed them of its safe recovery.

Despite the minimum coverage the BBC can get away with, surely even you have noticed the daily flotilla of craft floating across the English channel?
The rest of Europe wakes up to it, but as the BBC and news has done such a good job of brainwashing the nice but dim into mainly only hearing about the good, the countless crimes are kept a hushed as they can.
