Bembridge RNLI launched to reports of a sailing dinghy floating 7 nautical miles South of St Catherine’s Point yesterday lunchtime (Wednesday). Solent Coastguard requested that volunteers launch the All Weather Lifeboat to locate and inspect the yellow Laser Pico dinghy at around 12:30. Thanks to calm conditions, the crew made good speed and quickly located the object and hauled it on board the Tamar-class lifeboat. It was subsequently dropped off at the lifeboat station at Lane End. HM Coastguard believes the dinghy originates from an owner near the Bournemouth area. They have the owner’s details and have informed them of its safe recovery.

Looks like the economic spongers made it then!
Maybe Bob was trying to get off the island before the Election
Shame on you, Liz, you are obsessed by the nasty right-wing fascist propaganda. The upset about Sunak skipping some D-Day celebrations reminds us how important it was, the fight and sacrifice WW2 veterans made, to defeat fascism. Fascism is the demonisation and persecution of minorities, like the Nazis did. The fascists are now succeeding in winding you up.
The fascists are this tory government, and the labour government that is likely to take their place, and the veterans that faught to defeat fascism are sleeping in shop doorways. That is all the thanks they get and waste of space smackheads are all living it up in free houses and free handouts. Why did they bother risking their lives to defend the shit hole country it has now become?
Starmer is no different, the country is doomed.
Nurse!!
Nurse!!
He’s out of bed again!!!
are you for real welsh…
it is the hand wringing, lefty, socialist do gooders that have caused this problem by allowing all these spongers in.
if the state had said – no housing, no money, no food, no nothing – they wouldn’t have bothered turning up after the first batch returned to france or simply starved in the streets.
Fascism is actually extreme nationalism. Fascism is defined as “a cult of the leader who promises national restoration in the face of humiliation brought on by supposed communists, minorities, and immigrants who are supposedly posing a threat to the character and the history of a nation”. Examples include Reform UK.
Yep.
Reform are defacto fascists and a party organised as a dictatorship.
I don’t know why Reform supporters make such a big thing about VE day. Their side lost.
Welsh, I would bet my life that a massive majority back in the 1940’s went to war to PROTECT their family, their friends, and their homeland from foreign invaders who they knew would change their way of life once here, and rape, stab, shoot and otherwise cause harm to the British people IF not stopped.
All this rubbish about protecting minorities was NOT their driving force, the above was, and ironically MP’s of ALL parties have now allowed in people who do exactly what the Nazis would have done if they had arrived incl loss of free.speech.
Some ethnic soldiers did fight on our side, but again for the same reasons as our soldiers did, AND because they KNEW they and their loved ones would have fared far worse under Nazi rule.
What the hell have policies got to do with a dinghy adrift in the English channel. Well done Bembridge lifeboat
Despite the minimum coverage the BBC can get away with, surely even you have noticed the daily flotilla of craft floating across the English channel?
The rest of Europe wakes up to it, but as the BBC and news has done such a good job of brainwashing the nice but dim into mainly only hearing about the good, the countless crimes are kept a hushed as they can.
So of course an empty craft will be seen as another nail in the coffin for OUR children our people and our country for the numbers are NEVER ending, as they can breed faster than we can house, so will ruin us unless ended NOW. Vote Reform
Head banger?
Seriously..
Stop the boats! I bet it was a Reform UK stunt.
