A potentially life-saving defibrillator has been installed outside Bembridge RNLI lifeboat station at Lane End.
The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) has been placed in a specialist storage unit on the wall of Bembridge RNLI’s shop at the Fisherman’s Walk car park.
If required, the defib can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 999 and asking for the unlock code from the local ambulance service.
Residents and visitors to Bembridge now have a greater chance of survival thanks to the generous support of the Co-operative Funeral Care, Lane End Beach Huts Ltd, The Wight Strollers and 5 Star pest Control.
