The discovery of a man’s body in a holiday chalet in Bembridge is not being treated as suspicious, Police have confirmed.
Officers were called to Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park off Hillway Road yesterday morning (Monday) when a deceased male was found inside one of the park’s chalets.
The scene was cordoned off for a period of time as investigations into the sudden death got underway.
The male, aged in his 30s and from Staffordshire, is thought to have been on holiday with his family.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that they were called at 05:44 by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
Next of kin have been informed and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
