Emergency services have been called to a road traffic collision involving 2 cyclists on the main road in and out of East Cowes this morning (Friday).
The incident has occurred on Whippingham Road, just south of the junction with Folly Lane, and has seen a pair of cyclists come off their bicycles, both now lying injured on the verge.
A number of vehicles have stopped at the scene, but it is unclear at this stage if any have made contact with the bicycles.
Motorists should expect delays in the area as traffic builds both in and out of the town.
