UPDATED: A Ford Transit van and a lorry have been involved in a minor road traffic collision on Ashey Road in Ryde this morning (Tuesday).
Police are in attendance at the scene near to Vintage Vacations having been alerted to the incident at just before 08:45.
The front driver’s side of the black Transit has sustained significant damage after colliding with a Richard Carter concrete lorry, but thankfully no one is thought to have been injured.
The road is open to light traffic under Police direction, but delays are to be expected in the area.
UPDATE @ 09:09 – Police have now closed Ashey Road in both directions.
Recovery has been arranged.
